| This school project uses a dramatically curved metal canopy system – formed from a steel decking profile– to replace the existing canopy. The new design updates and transforms the entire look of the building while providing a way to route utility lines to the building’s interior. | |

To get rid of an outdated building and double the
floor space, the owner of this True Value store opted for a total
renovation based on a metal-skinned design. Three tiers of
metal panels, tastefully curved into a distinctive-looking wall and
mansard system, actually enclose the old stucco-and-glass building. A
conventional metal building would never have gained approval in the
high-traffic commercial location where the store is located. |
