Texas homeowners who use products that meet impact resistant performance requirements are eligible for roof covering credits from the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI). The roof credits apply to all parts of Texas -- yet many consumers remain unaware that these insurance credits are available!
Texas is leading the way in encouraging consumers to use building products that offer superior protection in severe climates, and in providing insurance incentives for the use of such products. Many construction and insurance industry experts predict that other states will follow suit in the near future.
